If you’re a student aged 13+ and enrolled in a degree or diploma-granting course of study, the GitHub Student Developer Pack is for you. All you need is a school-issued email address and/or official, dated proof of enrollment. For more information about the application process and what documents we accept, please read our docs on applying.
How do I join the GitHub Education?
As a student: If you're currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution, you can apply to become part of GitHub Education. You'll need to provide a school-issued email address or other documents proving your enrollment. To apply, go to your GitHub account settings, navigate to the Billing tab, and look for the Education benefits section. From there, select Student and follow the instructions to submit your information.
As a teacher: Educators can join GitHub Education by verifying their teacher status with a school-issued email and documentation of school affiliation. To apply, head to your GitHub Settings, go to the Billing tab, and find the Education benefits section. Select Teacher and complete the application steps.
As a school: To get your school on board with the free GitHub Education program for schools, you need to be an educational institution offering degrees or certificates. The application should be completed by someone in charge of IT or a department head. Apply through the GitHub Education website, select 'Schools', and follow the instructions to submit your information.

my school account got flagged for no reason and when i try to use my personal mail and add the school mail in it it says i have to delete the account with the school mail, and when i try to it says i need approval. i need the student developer pack urgently so i can use mongodb for school and support has not replied since a week, what can i do to fix this?
I recently graduated and unfortunately no longer have access to my university email. My university is also around 100km away, so it's not easy to visit just to get documentation.
I really want access to the GitHub Student Developer Pack again mainly for the tools and learning resources. Is there any workaround or legit method to still get verified, maybe using an old ID card or transcript?
I don't have biling info to be precise I don't have the card and that's the reason why I'm unable to get the student developer pack but I have both edu email and Id card to get verify. Is there any way to bypass? Why 'd they need to know billing info for student developer pack as well? Not every student do have money lol.
