Pros & Cons of using Gmail for Business?
I personally used Google for my old company, and use MS Exchange for my new one. I can't speak much to advanced features or ease of administering the system, but from a UX perspective I much prefer gmail. The only trouble is that staying logged in to multiple google accounts (for example, if you use gmail for personal stuff too) is a little tricky. More on reddit.com

If you are actually meaning ''emailing from a specific domain name'' like [email protected] , then you might want to consider just registering a domain and while you're at it, invest in a decent website (which does not have to cost the world). A website could be your business card at the same time and makes you look professional in combination with the domain e-mail. And if you're not sure about what specific business/company you want to start, you may want to think of a general name/domain.

I was wondering if anyone here is still using a free Gmail account for their business activities. If yes, how has your experience been so far - are you finding it effective, or do you feel limited compared to other options?
I’m curious to hear real experiences from this community.

I would think a business would avoid a free e-mail provider and get an e-mail using their domain name. But I have no "real" experience (other than silently snickering at any business that doesn't have a domain).
