Hi Stacey,
Apologies about the severely delayed replied.
So I am able to log into my Microsoft account and go daddy account but I need to activate office 365. To do this it says the admin needs to assign the license to my account.
Every time I click on the admin screen in my microsoft portal it takes me to my Godaddy admin page but there is no place to add a license.
I have attached screen shots below

Regarding you can't access office 365 apps, in this scenario, to help you better and clarify your situation, we would like to confirm some information with you:
- Generally, you should go to the Microsoft 365 sign-in page>Enter your Microsoft 365 email address and password not your GoDaddy username and password >then select sign in>You might need to select your account type as Work or school, not Personal and you can access the office apps successfully. May I know how did you sign in office 365? With your office 3656 account or your Gmail account?

- May I know did you purchase office 365 business use the same email address from GoDaddy?

Apple Mail suddenly not working with my Godaddy email. So, so frustrating. 2FA isn't working with my phone number and the Microsoft Authenticator isn't sending a verification code. How is it possible that Microsoft is so awful after being around for almost 50 years.
Anyone else having this issue? I tried deleting my account and re-adding but I feel like the only solution is moving to another provider.

I feel the same. I use apple mail and godaddy Microsoft email - today I had to delete and re set-up my email accounts on both my phone and laptop. After today, Proton mail is sounding good…but my annual MS 5 email plan just renewed with GD so I’ve been meaning to find out if I’d get a refund for the unused time if I cancel.

I use GMAIL. I pay for the Google Workspace Business. You may be able to get 1 personal email account from them for free.

I feel like I haven't gotten a straight answer from GoDaddy on this.
I received an email that says my email accounts will be suspended unless I pay them for "Microsoft 365 Email Essentials Basic".
I did the "GoDaddy Workplace changeover" thing about 3 months ago, with no problems.
I know "GoDaddy is evil" and will most likely be going to another vendor if this MS 365 thing is true.

If you are a current G/D client, this was a forced migration. I had to escalate this multiple levels before I got an answer on this. Level 1 tech is useless and you shouldn't bother other than to just keep asking for someone else. We have numerous email address via numerous G/D hosted email accounts. As you can imagine, everything dumps to various handheld devices, laptops, etc. on both MS OS and Mac OS. I have not paid for this product and in fact we're still using the old POP credentials on all devices. If you are still having issues there are various work-arounds in this thread but I was actually told 3X by senior managers that payment for usage of this product is not necessary, specifically due to forced migration. One manager went so far as to hint that it would be illegal to force a product on a client, request payment and terminate that relationship (extortion??). Which should literally come and no surprise given the company we're all talking about here.

The easy way is to just pay them. The hard way (assuming you have cPanel hosting) is to set up your emails in cPanel. I'm doing the latter and don't recommend it.
