Best goodwill in SF?
The Goodwill Boutique in West Portal is great. It offers new or like-new items with a curated selection of designer labels. I'm also a fan of the one in the TL, really. It's clean and well-laid out, and if you're lucky, it'll have some great vintage donations. I've seen vintage Burberry and 1920s-style gowns there. More on reddit.com

April 7, 2025The old Goodwill location at 822 Geary St. - formerly slated to be a dedicated drug injection site - will be a 16 bed 'stabilization center' for people with 'urgent mental health needs' dropped off by cops, paramedics, or 'street teams,' to be managed by a 20 person team from DPH.
I take the 38 every day so made a point of checking the address out as I went by. It's a one-story building. They should tear it down and build something larger. More on reddit.com
