r/google on Reddit: Can't cancel subscription on the Google Play Store because it doesn't show up
January 16, 2022 -
I have a really stupid problem, I wanted to cancel my Disney+ subscription since I am not watching it anymore, but the Disney+ App leads me into the Google Play Store when I want to cancel it. And on the Google Play Store there is no listing under the subscriptions page. This is really frustrating right now since there is no other workaround and I don't want to get charged money every month for nothing. I hope someone knows how to do this.

Check you don't have multiple accounts under the same email address, I've had the issue with Google play games. The second account was the one we were forced to set up when Google plus was a thing. Should work as one but had has the random glitch which may be your issue. If that fails just remove the payment method on your account around the time of renewal and leave it off for few weeks as they may attempt to take the payment multiple times before they give up.

This should be illegal. Having me jump through hoops to cancel a subscription is just their way of permanently keeping people who are not tech savvy or get frustrated quickly on their subscription plan involuntarily. For clarification, I got an app on my chromecast which needed subscription. I subscribe on the tv and pay through the tv. When trying to cancel it gives me a QR code that I scan with my phone but that ends with a dead end (no matching Google key or something). My wife had to open her old email, retrieve the password, and cancel the sub through google’s website on the TV.
