April 13, 2023 - If you can figure out which circuit activates when powering the dome lights, my recommendation would be to grab an add-a-fuse and pull power off that circuit to power them, rather than cutting into OEM wiring. In that scenario, you would cut the cigarette lighter end off the wiring harness the LED kit comes with, run the positive wire to the add-a-fuse wire and the other to ground.

Looking into installing some on my car, I see a lot of videos where they hook it up to the battery. Is this going to cause it to run all the time when the car is off? And is it going to drain the battery?

Install a circuit jack to your accessory slot in the interior fusebox and attach it to a switch in your car. you will be able to control it through the app and and turn it off when not in use (daytime, cops, etc), you won't have to worry about power drain at all. Plus if its the right circuit it only gets power when the ignition is turned on look at the map on the inside of the panel cover to figure out which one to use

Earlier I went to the auto shop and I saw that they had led strips for the cars and I was interested in them. I didn’t want to buy from them though because I already own quite a few Govee lights and trust the company. I felt inspired and saw that there was a flash sale and I bought the underglow lights and the strip lights.
I saw good reviews but I remember reading some bad ones on here so I want to know what are the goods/bad about the lights.

I just installed both the undercarriage and interior car lights. The interior ones don't have the same animated theme capabilities as the undercar, so the options are a bit limited to sync them. I also think they are a bit dim, even at full brightness compared to some other LED kits I've seen on other cars. I'm doing more research now. I want to add lights around my engine and much more in the interior for car shows...
