Hello everyone,
Looking into getting into Govee coming from Hue, My question is should I get the floor lamp 2 vs the Lyra . I am mostly interested in warm whites for background. I would consider the pro because it is taller however, I have no use for the speaker... Unless I can add it to a group in Google home and use it that way .

I can at least speak to the Lamp 2, which has a tab on the mobile app for 'Illumination' that is normal white light. You can control how warm/cold and how bright or dim you want it. As a bonus, the physical remote defaults to the Illumination scene when you power it on and has the same controls, so you don't even have to fiddle with an app if you don't want to.

Hey Govee experts! Instead of falling down a YouTube rabbit hole, I figured I’d ask here.
I’m planning on getting one of the two aforementioned lamps, as I really enjoyed the ambiance my Christmas tree lighting created. I just want something that adds that kind of vibe to my living room.
Right now they’re $89 vs. $119 - not a huge price difference. What are your thoughts on the 2 lamps?

I only have the floor lamp. I bought 2 and we absolutely love them. One basically stays on 24/7 and acts as a night light for the living room when we go to bed. I’m most definitely not using it to its fullest potential. They were also great during Christmas time as red and green lights. Haven’t had any issues with ours so far!

I’m torn on getting just one and getting a different floor lamp, or two of the floor lamp pros. It’s definitely pricy for two of them, so I’m hoping to hear from other people! Lighting is more important than the speaker.

If you're going for accent lighting, don't sleep on the Lyra as an alternative. I currently have 4 of these (one in each corner of my office) and they're amazing for accent lighting. I was looking at the Pros because they are a little bit brighter, but the cost and the speaker I'll never use are pretty big turn offs. The Lyra is $99 on amazon vs the $220 for the Pro.

I have 2 pros. I got them because they're taller and a little brighter. I just put them them together yesterday tho so not the best tester yet. They're on both sides of my TV near a corner. Good ambient lighting and awesome effects but it won't light up a room.

I have the corner floor lamp and honestly kind of wish I got the lyra. I like the black better than the white but the actual LED strip on the lyra is longer and it's RGBICWW which means it can create true warm whites, the warm white on this on is still pretty blue. Plus the lyra is raised off the floor a bit, which is not a huge thing but I did buy some pedestal looking things to raise my floor lamp. The lyra also is brighter (higher lumens)
