I bought the 150 ft Outdoor Pro lights, plus one 16.4 ft extension (10 light segments total). I will also be using two of the short extension cables and one long extension cable.
The instructions say that a driver module is necessary for anything more than 150 ft, so I bought one. I just did a dry run with all my light segments and extension cables, and all the lights seem to illuminate fine without the driver module. Was I wrong in assuming that I need a driver module for my purpose? Should I return it, or go ahead and install it just in case?
Hello all. I have 150ft of outdoor permanent lights hung incorrectly on my house. I hired someone to hang them and they did it wrong. I have hired someone else to re-hang them but I threw away the installation guide. Does anyone have a copy they can scan or take a picture of? Thank you.
I’ve hired someone to install the pro version of the outdoor lights for me and they’re almost finished with the install. They’ve already used all of the extensions that were provided and had to make some of his own, so we might be exceeding the 200ft limit by 30ft since I want the lights to wrap around the side of the house. Our concern is that the lights might start to flicker if I exceed the limit and may burn out the adapter/power box. What are my options?
I was wondering if I would be able to connect a second driver module to the end of the 200ft and continue along the side of the home? Or would I have to use the adapter from the second set and start from there? Will connecting another driver module burn out the power box/adapter? Thanks!
