Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a decent pair of headphones to listen to music from my S21. I mostly listen to music on the go on Spotify, but my cheap buds have failed and looking to treat myself to something a little better. I see lots of mentions of some headphones not being driven / powered very well by mobile phones, so I'm looking for something compatible. I also see mentions of amps /DAC's / dongles, and not sure if I would need these as well? My phone only has one USB-C connector, no headphone-specific slot.
I don't mind getting extras as long as it's within my budget of £250 (around $300).
I don't really have a preference for IEM's / or open/closed cans, as long as they're not too cumbersome for travel. As for music taste, I listen to a lot of prog rock, metal but also some pop as well. Loads of Muse! I don't mind wired options, but would also appreciate wireless options as well as they can be convenient for travel.
Would greatly appreciate any advice and/or headphone recommendations, and especially advice on any extras I might need to get it all setup to sound good! I'm in the UK if it helps. Thanks!
What are the chances of Samsung making a set of headphones like the galaxy buds competing with Sony and Bose??
