Modern Mythology is, in my opinion, a really fun take on the characters. There are a lot of people who are drawn to the Mythology in most cultures(Greek, Norse, Chinese). And there have been dozens of iterations for all of them. In that regard US does not have that type of mythology within its culture so turning these superheroes into that is what has drawn many fans towards Snyders take. Some a little too far lmao More on reddit.com

Freya says: "Season 3 was a really difficult season for everyone. I cried because I wanted to finish the show with the guy that played my adoptive father," Allan says. "For the first time, I was seeing what life away from The Witcher could look like and then the lead moves on… It was very weird. He's the Geralt I grew up with." More on reddit.com
Why is Henry Cavill so adored?
So there are the people who point and laugh at you. To illustrate. I was dating this girl who wanted me to take her to one of those Fandango Event Concert things in a movie theater. This one was being sponsored by the local radio station. The DJ came in acted all excited and like yeah isn't this totally awesome. As she was leaving she answered a phone call and called those of us sitting there a "bunch of losers" That feels shitty. When you're into a thing and the person whose job it is to present said thing to you the whole time is thinking "You nerds" Henry Cavill wasn't making Man of Steel and thinking "Ugh what losers like this crap" he was thinking "Holy shit I get to play Superman" And to me that's why I think people love him and others like him. We hate actors who are "here I'm going to make this thing you're supposed to become invested in and then judge you for it" but we love actors who love that we love their work. More on reddit.com

Henry was 100% right to walk away from The Witcher. Can't believe what a fall from grace this show has had since the inception of its incredible first season. It’s mind-boggling that the same people behind that masterpiece are responsible for the mess it’s become. Season 1 was so good it keeps pulling me back… I think I’m actually going to hate-watch entire season 4 just to see how bad it gets.

I think I’m actually going to hate-watch season 4 just to see how bad it gets. You do you (not meant to be snarky) but you watching it will make the aholes in charge think you like it.

3 weeks ago - I believe that to be true because they cancelled all of his projects including that LAPD Special Unit film that they announced awhile back. He is gone from Netflix. Throw in the fact that Henry Cavill, who Netflix feels burned by because he quit The Witcher...I highly doubt they are wanting to get back in to business with either one of them.
