Looking for professional wear. Every dress pant i try on are lowrise, too tight in the legs, and ride up my fing cracks!! I dont want my pants to cling to my ass in the office thanks. I'm curvy pear I try to size up but then the waist is too big.

You might need to have your pants altered to take in the waist line of pants which fit your hips. I am built the opposite way- pants which fit at the waist are often too big for my narrow hips. I like the old navy Taylor pants which are loose but not baggy and have elastic in the back. Maybe something like that would work for you too? bonus is that they’re cheap and wash beautifully.

It's classical tailoring, reminiscent of how trousers were cut from the 1920s-1950s; I once picked up an exquisite wool/mohair suit of the Rat Pack era with wonderful high trousers. What I really want is what they called a "Hollywood waist" where the waistband is not a separate piece of fabric but an extension of the legs upwards. No one makes that as far as I know. Hi all! I’ve been looking everywhere for these but I’m honestly not sure they’re even a thing. I’m hoping to branch out from my Old Navy skinny pixies (which I do love), but all the pleated pants I’ve tried poof out when I sit in a way that makes me feel self-conscious, so I’m hoping for something non-pleated.
I’d love something high-waisted in a classic silhouette. I tend to prefer some fittedness at the waist/top (a “magic pockets” situation would be awesome) but I’m open to different leg widths.
I’m a budget shopper but open to looking for more expensive brands or vintage things secondhand. Do these mystical pants exist??
