The Design Center contracts with a company to measure and install. However, the installers are located in Florida and and had to travel to NC - a scheduling nightmare. On top of that, the folks at customer service at the Home Depot Design Center who were supposed to call me at each step to schedule, etc.

January 20, 2024 - Has anyone ever been to the Home Depot Design Center on Rockville Pike? What’s that like? Can you just walk in and browse the showrooms?

When my husband made a comment about the cost and just going to Home Depot for the same thing for half the price the rep we were working with stated that although "the outside of the fixtures are the same, the insides are different". Implying that you pay half price for the same look but aren't getting as good a quality product. How true is this?? Is it the same for all things Design Center vs Retail?
