Couches will probably be replaced at some point, just moved in with them. Should I do a sectional? Where should I put my TV? It's decent for viewing on the couch but for the loveseat it's a little too high.
The small console table surrounded by plants is a part of a living room set that I will sell when I figure out a replacement for that area.
Should I paint?? The rug is really the only thing that I have in this room so far explaining the direction of decor I want to go in lol.
Would any kind of coffee table fit here?
I'm just at a complete loss for how to do the layout in this room. Any tips welcome, decor or layout!!

Ooo this is so fun. Create two seating areas! One for tv watching and one for reading, board games, socializing with people in the kitchen. If it’s in your budget, downsize the sofas. I think two of equal size, aligned and facing each other would be great! Maybe more structured than floppy cushions? On the other side of the room, have a seating area without a tv. A sofa, a reading chair, a large enough square coffee table for board games, floor lamp, book shelf…?
