Laptop is charged and off.

There is nothing, no button, no sensor or anything in between the screen and the keyboard.

There is nothing on the left and right sides of the keyboard, only ports.

The top-right most key on the keyboard is blank. I thought this might be the power, but I've pressed it, held it for varying amounts of time, to no avail.

Since nothing so far has worked I suspect the power might be sensor/fingerprint-activated, but I don't know where I would have to touch in that case, and for how long.

I have turned the laptop on before, but I don't remember how.

I would share a photo, but I'm on my phone and can't send anything on reddit mobile browser.

Have you tried all this with it plugged into power? Battery might be dead.

Power button is the blank key on the top right of the keyboard. If it's the actual model series I'm thinking of, it's going to require a motherboard replacement. I am familiar with the actual issue, but I cannot disclose the information.

Thanks JOcean, I tried that again now, unfortunately it didn't lead to any changes in the laptop. The light on the computer that turns on while charging or on doesn't light up, which makes me concerned that its a motherboard or power supply issue. I guess the physical plug of the adapter itself could have some issue that isn't easy to see visually (the green light on the adapter does turn on when plugged in) - eg the laptop could be out of charge and cant get charge because of an issue with the adapter. Any other ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
