It sounds like you want to make something like egg bites in the air fryer? You can definitely use a silicone item inside but I find it's abit difficult for the bottom to get cooked properly. I'd recommend using ramekins or some cheap metal bowls in the air fryer instead. I regularly use a silicone liner to make it easier to clean my air fryer, and it's never been an issue.
