App on desktop windows 10 DeskJet 2700 series when I try to sign in to app it says no because either the clock settings are wrong or cookies are disabled. I checked both to the best of my ability and it seems good. Any guidance?
I was trying to print a image I have made and i was given a notice to crate an account to print and scan documents. Why in god’s name do need to now have an account to accent for the most fundamental basic features?, it just doesn’t make any sees for a domestic printer! It would be fair enough for the faxes Machine feature and the remote functions!
Why Im not happy about it, because it is not just because it is unnecessary, but because I do not want to be spammed with advertising and other emails or text saying that your cartridges are running out, and or to have to make up and remember more passwords just for the sake of doing home scanning or printing!
Not to mention the potential privacy issues, what if you are printing or digitising a document with very sensitive information and details if there was a date leak?
That to me is a unfair imposition as it was all good before This update. Any one else experienced this problem?
This issue strangely happens on my iPad. My iPhone scans and prints with zero problems but on my iPad it forces me to create a new account or sign in whatever i want to do something with the printer. It is a deskjet 3835
I can confirm that's the same way on my Windows laptop. I wasn't able to scan today without creating an account or signing in to an HP account.
I've had this printer for a year and the only issues I've ever had was with this stupid HP Smart app.
Man, I miss the old printers that would just print or scan when click print or scan.
FUCK HP AND THEIR DATA COLLECTION TACTICS ....
why do it HAVE TO SIGN IN and give away my details in order to use THE FUCKING SCANNER THAT I PAID FOR !?!?!?!?!?
FUCK HP I'm saying it again
