They hold up really well! They look really nice by the pool. No one believed me when I said they were from IKEA! You have to pay for delivery or drive to IKEA and pick them up yourself (which, for me, is an hour trip each way) ... These chaise loungers were the easiest furniture item to put together.

I work in the lawn and garden services field and during my work I've visited hundreds of gardens and I should say wood fits best and wooden furniture looks more natural amongst the greenery. However, they offer steel and polyester furniture too, like this set of chairs and table for example.
