I bought a Nils armchair at a thrift store and the cover was a mess. (Also white, which was not ideal.) I hunted online and found Bemz, but their covers are not cheap. They offer 100+ fabric choices. It fit perfectly and is of high-quality fabric, so it was worth it to me. https://bemz.com/en-us/search/poang You might check to see if a local upholstery firm can make you a new cover (or two) using the old cover as a pattern.

I purchased a Poäng rocking chair from the as-is section thinking the cover was removable for washing or to be able to change it out for a different color. I got the chair home and tried to remove the cover but I found that the zipper is fused shut. I’m unsure if this is by design or if it was altered since this is labeled “second chance at life.” The picture on the left is from the IKEA website and it appears the zipper works and that the cover can be removed. The picture on the right is my actual chair. The care instructions tag has been removed and I can’t find the pertinent information in the website. This chair is pretty dirty and stained. I purchased it thinking I could easily remove the cover for cleaning like most other IKEA furniture. Now it looks like I’m stuck with a gross cover.
