Anyone have any idea for what ikea piece might serve as a taller nightstand, somewhere around 32”-35” tall? All the listed nightstands are too short, and I can’t seem to find another piece that’s the right height that still fulfills the purpose of a nightstand (space for a reading lamp, book, phone etc). My bed is very tall between the mattress, box spring, and frame so I need something I won’t have to lean down to use from bed.

Love that lamp and I usually hate floor lamps with shelves. A chest is good if you have wall space and need some storage. My bed is about 30" tall and a 3 drawer chest is the perfect height. I was suffering with extremely cute 24" tall nightstands for ages and loving having them the right height. This one is quite tall, might work. I'd go to Ikea with something the exact height of your bed and have fun looking at possibilities. Look everywhere, perhaps a small console table would fit your needs. Maybe a cabinet would work.
