New legend banners are up! Duelist I almost ready to be released.
[21-11-2025] Changelog
Replaced the old map with a new design.
Removed old changelog since it's not really necessary at this point.
Removed spoiler tag, it's way overdue at this point.
Bolded more important text.
The Peak - Improved character recommendations and strategy, though i've done it about 2-4 months ago and never documented it.
Infinitesimal - added extra sentence to not use teams with a lot of pyro hits, if you can't kill the legend within 30s that is.
Fixed some typos.
The Peak, Mutated Tatankasaurus
Overworld, 12 hour respawn time. Its lair is at the top of a small island north-west from the volcano.
Achievement 2: Defeat The Peak in its weakened state.
Achievement 3: During the course of completing a single challenge, do not let The Peak unleash its Saurian Stomp.
A raid boss. He deals high pyro damage and has innate 50% pyro resistance. Additionally, if there aren't any on the field, he periodically slams the ground to spawn 4 phlogiston rocks next to him. While rocks are on the field, he gains additional 100% resistance to all damage types. Rocks have permanent pyro aura and can be destroyed with Overload reaction or Collective of Plenty's characters / Tatankasaurus' Quick Charge dash.
After a certain time has passed The Peak will destroy current phlogiston rocks, charge at you twice and jump in the middle of the arena to unleash his ultimate move. On landing he'll spawn 3 big phlogiston rocks which require 2 Overloads to break. If rocks aren't destroyed within 12 seconds, mutated Tatankasaurus will unleash Saurian Stomp. If you successfully break all of them, he'll enter a weakened state for 12 seconds with -60% resistances to all damage types except -20% for pyro.
Recommended characters: Varesa/Clorinde OR on-field electro DPS / Shinobu + Iansan/Lisa, strong shielder and/or healer. || Overload / Quicken / Electro-charged teams
Strategy: Overload comps or quicken with double electro are perfect for this legend. Some characters who aren't Varesa/Iansan can interrupt the ultimate move solo (like Lisa/Clorinde) but their timing is tight. You also want constant overload / AoE electro damage (Clorinde/Shinobu) to break mini rocks during the fight, else the extra resistances will massively reduce your damage. As long as you prevent Saurian Stomp, you're good to go. One tip for Iansan - she can demolish big pillars with her final NA hit. (Achievement 2) Bring Peak to very low health, survive, interrupt Saurian Stomp and finish him off during the weakened state.
Battlegoat & Ironclaw
Overworld, 12 hour respawn time. They're constantly playing tricks on each other near the Derelict Masonry Dock artifact domain (Long Night's Oath / Finale of the Deep Galleries).
Achievement 2: During the course of completing a single challenge, have Battlegoat's charge collide with Ironclaw's headbutt 2 times.
Achievement 3: Defeat Battlegoat and Ironclaw at the same time by having Battlegoat's charge collide with Ironclaw's headbutt.
The main gimmick is that both of these legends can damage each other. Bird doesn't really do much on his own except minor poke damage. Goat is the main enemy and the job is to lead him to attack the bird for high damage. There are two moves that are especially dangerous for both legends and players alike. The first one is a typical, short ranged slam that's used in close range. If the Ironclaw is hit, it'll start spinning. If the bird collides with the goat, the spinning will cease.
The second move is the main course. Goat prepares for a few seconds and charges at you, up to 5 times in a row. If the bird is hit it'll take minor damage. After being hit twice, the bird shields itself for the following charges. If Battlegoat collides with the solidified Ironclaw, they take 20% of their max HP as damage. Executing this move properly is required for both conditional achievements. When the goat is preparing, you'll see the indicator on the ground. If the indicator has a golden color, it means the bird is going to get hit by the charge. Goat sometimes does a single charge like this which counts as a different move.
Recommended characters: None. Choose whoever you want.
Strategy: Patience is the key. Lead the goat to the bird and eventually they'll kill each other. For the third achievement you might want to be careful and lower their health a little to ensure their death. You might want to bring strong shielder and healer, since these guys are deadly. Legends take normal damage from attacks.
Reji, Tatankasaurus Warrior (Slingshot)
Night Kingdom. Totem is hidden near the coast, east / south-east of the volcano. Take the most south-eastern teleporter and walk directly north.
Achievement 2: During the course of completing a single challenge, have your characters be protected by a shield when being attacked by Reji, and the shield must not be destroyed.
Achievement 3: During the course of completing a single challenge, deflect 4 bullets in a row within a short period of time.
Reji learned a trick or two from Primo Geovishap. She has two moves which you can counter and reflect if you have a shield. In the first one she uses her slingshot to shoot 5 projectiles in an arc pattern, repeating it 4 or 5 times. Each reflected projectile deals 5% max hp back to Reji. Second move is a dash into slam. Reflecting it deals ~15% max hp back. Reji has innate 100% extra resistances which greatly encourages the use of reflect. (Achievement 2) Failure triggers when you take damage from a hit that broke a shield. If you're using multiple shields and only one was broken, you're still fine.
Recommended characters: Lan Yan / Zhongli / other shielder, 4x different elements (resonance), Xingqiu/Beidou (Damage Reduction bursts) and/or full DEF character (on-field)
Strategy: Maximize your shield HP and let Reji taste her own medicine... and the dosage is lethal. Drink 25% Electro resistance potion, eat Shield Strength food, equip 2p Thundersoother artifact set on your on-field character. This alone should completely trivialize this legend. You can also use 2p / 4p Tiny Miracle set (4*) in addition / instead. If using Lan Yan, make sure to take an Electro character to let her shield swirl and absorb electro for 250% effectiveness.
If done right you can kill Reji during her first move. However, without a properly built Lan Yan you'll most likely need to use a full DEF character as an on-field character (around 2000-2500 DEF should be enough) and/or Xingqiu's/Beidou's burst for additional damage reduction. Stand in Reji’s point-blank range to reflect the most projectiles. Bigger/taller characters have bigger hitbox so they are preferred, but not necessary. Jumping right before slingshot fires can intercept all projectiles.
Tupu's Lushness, Electro Wayob
Night Kingdom. Totem can be found near the road between two teleporters, east of the volcano.
Achievement 2: During the course of completing a single challenge, no characters were downed.
Achievement 3: During the course of completing a single challenge, do not let the Electro Ward created by Tupu's Lushness reach more than half of its maximum value.
Tupu is an Electro Wayob and has massively increased resistances by default. 250% for Electro, 210% for other elements/physical. You can shred those resistances to -40% with help of his special mechanic. Two of his special moves spawns orbs which, if you collect 6 of them, grant you an aura that stuns Tupu and continuously shreds his resistances for 5 seconds. Stun is applied on resistance removal. Aura lasts for 30 seconds or until the legend initiates the next special move. When picked up, the orbs fully restore phlogiston.
The first special move only spawns 6 stationary orbs around the edge of the arena. After 15 seconds, Wayob absorbs them to create a shield. Other than applying electro on himself and achievement 3 relevance, his shield has no functions.
In the second move Tupu teleports to the middle of the arena and constantly spawns orbs that float towards him. During this time, he'll constantly deal electro damage around him and absorb any orbs that reach him (like in the first move). At the end he'll unleash a burst that instantly kills your active character. You can prevent death by collecting at least 10 orbs which grant you an invulnerability shield (including his DoT area). Any additional orb above 10 deals high damage to Wayob and removes part of his shield. Orbs spawn clockwise and the very first orb always spawns from the direction Tupu is facing.
Recommended characters: fast Natlan character OR Tall Male character, 2x Anemo characters (resonance), strong shielder
Strategy: Mechanic description is rather lengthy despite being a relatively simple fight. TL;DR Key part of this fight is to be fast in order to grab every single orb, you'll need it for achievements. Run around with a Tall Male model character (Kaeya/Zhongli type) for the highest movement speed or a quick Natlan character since you get "infinite" phlogiston while collecting orbs. Extra shielder is recommended to not die in an accident during the absorption phase. You don't need any DPS characters but feel free to take if you want. As long as you collect the orbs, you'll easily clear all achievements.
Infinitesimal, Eroding Avatar of Lava
Ancient Sacred Mountain, 24 hour respawn time. Protects broken bridge on the eastern island, near teleporter. To enter the volcano, where the legend resides, complete the quest that unlocks spiritways to the small islands around its peak. Another quest will lead you towards the entrance. From inside, you'll have to move through each island in a reverse clockwise manner to reach the legend.
Achievement 2: During the course of completing a single challenge, avoid getting hit by Infinitesimal's Earthshaker Strike.
Achievement 3: Defeat Infinitesimal when it first enters a weakened state.
This Eroding Avatar of Lava doesn't die when its pyro gauge bar gets full like the others. It has two separate mechanics protecting it. The first is a geo ward which negates all damage dealt to it until the ward is destroyed. The second is a 120% resistance buff, which you can remove by filling its pyro gauge. Once both of these protections are gone, Infinitesimal enters a weakened state until its next attack after 30 seconds has passed.
Earthshaker StrikeEarthshaker Strike is a move where the legend raises its right arm, enlarges it and slams the ground in small AoE. Then it'll do the same with the left arm but quicker, and finally finish with a large AoE slam. Each hit can be dodged, and being hit by any of them will fail the second achievement. With enough interruption, Infinitesimal can be staggered. He can't execute Earthshaker Strike while weakened.
Recommended characters: Claymore OR Geo character, Pyro character || Overload team / (Achievement 2) ranged DPS
Strategy: Not a very complicated legend. You need at least 1 pyro character and some way to break the geo shield. Rest of them is up to you. With enough DPS you can simply use overload comp and kill it within 30 seconds after removing both protections. (Achievement 2) If you pay close attention to the enemy or can dodge reliably then you can use any team that fits the requirements. For extra safety a ranged DPS is recommended, and overload can destroy both shields even from afar. (Achievement 3) If you don't have enough damage to kill it within 30 seconds, you can break the geo ward and slowly whittle down its HP. Once it's low enough just fill the pyro gauge and go for a kill. Using teams that deal a lot of pyro hits (main DPS/burning etc.) are not recommended in this case.
