The battery on my iPhone 6S is dying out. Want to replace it but don’t want to go to an Apple Store since they’ll charge a premium. Any ideas?
EDIT: did some calling around. I’m getting £20 in Peckham, £25 Hammersmith, and £30 in Kensington. Apple is £49. Appreciate the point that Apple would provide better quality batteries than these cheap 3rd Party Repairs so giving me something to think about.
EDIT 2: Bit the bullet and went the Apple route. Phone works like a charm.

Apple charges £49 to replace the 6S battery. I get that's not free but I wouldn't say it is particularly expensive. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/iphone/repair/battery-replacement The problem with cheaper places is they probably use a cheaper battery. I dislike Apple's attitude to 3rd party repairs as much as the next person but I think £49 is not too bad.

Try PC Mobile Repair Clinic in Gants Hill, Ilford (on the central line) I've used them several times for repairs. The first time I went in was due to my phone not charging. I was quoted £25 to repair the charging port and told to come back in an hour. I came back in, and the gentleman who runs it only wanted £10 because the repair was easier. The guy doesn't charge loads and is honest. Used them several times since.
