Yes. Maybe. Maybe. Yes it’s normal. The battery has a finite lifespan and wears out with use. Totally normal. Your problems might be with lack of battery capacity causing your phone to require recharging more often. If your phone is in good shape and you plan on keeping it a few more years and it’s annoying to recharge often - replacing the battery is worth the investment. If your phone isn’t in good shape or you plan on trading it soon - then save your coin for the new shiny. Answer from Deleted User on reddit.com

r/iPhone13ProMax on Reddit: Got a used iPhone 13 PM with 86% battery health, should I pay for a new battery on Apple? Will I notice a difference?
December 19, 2023 -

I bought the phone used on eBay, I was wondering, is worth it to change the battery on Apple for a new one? The battery holds as a lock, I disconnect the phone at 8 am, I charge it again at 2:00 PM to 3:00PM and holds all day long almost to bed time (heavy use, even using 5G), but my friend told me that this phone’s battery is pretty good when is new. Do you guys think that I will notice a difference if I pay for a full new battery or should I stay with this battery and do not get a new one?

Edit 1: Hey, thanks for all your responses!!, I’m going to change the battery this week, for all the people that are saying that Apple only replace the battery if it is 80% or lower that’s not true, the battery replacement is $89 plus taxes, I’ll keep you guys updated when I get my new battery and of course in the next couple of weeks I’ll edit again to let know if was worth it the change.
