Would this be too white? With an LRV of 86, it’s pretty bright and not sure if it should be a creamier color for trim or if there’s a different color completely I should go with.
I also want to paint the garage door black and have the white trim around the garage door.

As someone that does this for a living, extra and pure white will be too much white for that contrast. An off white will look like pure white from the street. Alabaster ( ask them to back off the gold/ yellow) and Greek Villa look good with Iron Ore. Check the fan deck for something in that area.

I’m thinking of painting my office space in “Iron Ore”. It’s currently white right now and I’m just bored with it. I’m not sure how this color will fair though in a room with only a very small window. Can I see everyone’s office rooms painted exclusively with iron ore?
The reason for me wanting to go with this color is it matches well with everything and gives me a warm cozy vibe from what I’ve seen at least.
I do plan on getting a small sample of colors to try first.

If you don't already know, S-W samples are a full quart. I've had 5 people in the past two weeks get mad at me because Sherwin Williams doesn't sell paint samples any smaller than a quart. Also check the description of this sub, this is more of a space for disgruntled employees, you may get some good advice here, but with all due respect, don't expect much of anything helpful.

You should hit up Pinterest and type in Sherwin Williams iron ore ideas. Lots of examples. Keep in mind that the color you see on your screen may differ due to color calibration. Always best to see it in person using the little color samples. Go to the store and take a sample home to see how it looks in your lighting ambience. It's a great color, more of a warm black but without the punchiness of tricorn black.
