Are Ceramic Tiles Slippery? | Skytouch Ceramic
But in reality, it's not the material but rather the texture and surface finish of the tile that is going to determine how slippery it's going to be. To test the slip resistance of your ceramic tiles, you will want to conduct a coefficient of friction (COF) test.

What Makes a Floor Slippery? A Brief Experimental Study of Ceramic Tiles Slip Resistance Depending on Their Properties and Surface Conditions - PMC
According to the obtained results, it can be concluded that the surface roughness is not the main determinant of slip resistance, and the final value of it is influenced by many components that should be considered together and not be neglected when designing the surface finish. Furthermore, based on experimental measurements, it can be noted that the highest slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions showed the unglazed tiles with lapatto finish and the glazed tiles without any extra finish. How Safe Are Porcelain Tiles? A Look at Slip Resistance | D&B Tile
If the floor has a high COF, it means the box will need a lot of force to move, indicating good slip resistance. A low COF shows the box slides easily and suggests the floor could be slippery. The dynamic coefficient of friction measures the friction of a surface in motion, which is more reflective of real-world conditions where people walk and move on the tiles.

There are different ratings of tile. Called COF (Coefficient Of Friction) ratings. Generally you want 0.60 or higher for floor tile.

Glazed or polished anything is slippery when wet. I've had matte rough finish tiles in bathrooms and it's totally fine, very stable footing, couldn't run and slide even if I wanted
