Today, the game's customer service responded with "While the purchases mostly are instant on the App and the developer received payment from Apple at the same time, Apple may record, group transactions, and charge Traveler on a different dates. (payment in pending)". To test this, I actually purchased another small app on the Store, and truth be told: it worked! The amount for both the app and the in-game purchase I made a week ago were withdrawn from my account (the bank sent me messages too!).
