I do some hobby graphic design (guitar and wiring schematics, light architecture), and sometimes find myself wishing I could type numbers with my left hand easier than the top row of numbers or reaching all the way to keyboard's number pad on the right (use a Keychron Q6 QMK), since my right hand is busy with the mouse.
Just curious if anyone uses an accessory keypad on the left or in addition to a full keyboard?
Hello All,
I read somewhere from u/cheswickFS that Keychron is going to release a standalone numpad eventually. Has anyone heard when this might happen?
Also maybe someone knows what kind of numpad it will be? Will it be thick to match a K2 or thin to match a K3? (as I don't want to get a K3 and then wait for a numpad only to find out its a thick one or vice versa)
I need a 75% K2/3 but also need a numpad to match for work. Getting a K3 with a separate matching K3 numpad would be ideal.
Nick has been posting pictures and questions about it on the facebook group as they are working on it. From what I have seen it has full size switches and at least 1 knob for a function that has yet to be decided
It is coming :)
