What to wear with khaki pants?
Are khaki pants in style for men?
What should guys wear with khaki pants?
For casual wear, if I’m not grabbing a pair of jeans, then I’m usually grabbing some chinos. Nearly all my chinos (J Crew, Buck Mason, OrSlow, etc) are a shade of olive green. I’d like to mix it up with some chinos in other colors. Not interested in Navy.
So that leaves khaki. I particularly have my eye on the J Crew Classic Chinos in “stone” which is a light khaki.
Whenever I think of khakis I think of the gap from the 90s and looking like a Target or Best Buy worker.
Any tips on how to pair khakis or make them somewhat fashionable? Inspo pics would be cool too.
Thanks!
Here in Sweden we have 4 significant seasons. The difference between summer and winter is more often than not 40 degrees Celsius.
The khaki chinos is during the summer a staple in anyone guy's wardrobe (although have not been as trendy this summer). However, during the dark cold winters the bright shades of summer disappear entirely and dark blue and black dominate the fashion scene. For autumn I can imagine that khaki chinos work wonderfully with the classic autumn colours like brown and orange.
However, for the winter season - do you think that the khaki chinos work well? What would you match them with for a viable winter outfit?
I'm picking up a couple of pairs of pants on sale, one of which is light tan: https://www.ae.com/us/en/p/men/khaki-pants/slim/ae-flex-slim-lived-in-khaki-pant/1120_4578_207?menu=cat4840004&utm_campaign=nogender_high_general&utm_content=ae&utm_medium=pla&utm_source=google&utm_term=pmax
I'm usually a black/gray/blue pants person. I'm not sure what colors would look the best with these tan pants. Any advice or suggestions would be welcome.
