(In Ireland we follow the UK sizing for bed clothes) Super King Size Duvet: Approximately 260 cm x 220 cm (102 inches x 87 inches). King Size Duvet: Typically around 225 cm x 220 cm (90 inches x 87 inches). To ensure your bedding fits perfectly, a helpful tip is to mark your super king duvet with an arrow pointing to the top. Lay the duvet over the bed and the longest part of the duvet should be along the WIDTH of the bed (260cm). Then use a laundry pen & put two arrows pointing top. I know White Lotus Home has an all-cotton fill comforter and I think they do custom sizing but it tends to be really pricey and is not washable. Cotton won't be super-fluffy like down; it will have the slightest bit of puff to it but it will eventually compact and firm up over time. For a pretty decent budget option I think Costco has one that's 100% cotton fill (though I don't think it's oversized) and one can usually find some good options if you search google with 'cotton fill comforter'. I have a giant king pure linen duvet cover that I place a silk stuffed comforter in. It's like covering up with butterfly wings of warmth. In summer we put a thin cotton quilt in the duvet cover. Hangs to the bottom of the highest mattress. More on reddit.com

It’s way too short width-wise. It doesn’t even cover the sides of my bed, so husband I are like pulling it our sleep to get some cover but it’s just not gonna happen bc the comforter is way too small! It’s actually crazy. And it looks so. It barely covers the edge of the bed.
Tips for well-fitting king size comforters and duvets? Especially brands that use sustainable materials? Thank you!!

My only suggestion, since mattress thicknesses vary so greatly, is to take a measurement of your bed from side to side of just how wide you need it to be. I found our quilt that way, found an extra wide that fits perfectly. 90% were at least 6 or 8 inches too narrow.
