I ended up with one of these not for the accessories, but because the configuration of the sink was exactly what I needed and I couldn't get it withOUT the accessories - honestly I think I used a colander once and nothing else from the set. I have the accessories stashed around - the board is with my other cutting boards, the drying rack I parked in the drawer under my washing machine, the colander is in antoher drawer somewhere... I will say what I love about my sink is the configuration of having the right rear drain, keeps my sink 'open' even when there are dishes in it. More on reddit.com

I got the Kraus double bowl undermount sink and love it. If you’re getting new quartz or granite countertops, get your countertop hole a little larger than your sink bowl so you can get dish strainer and cutting board accessories. I got mine flush and regret it. More on reddit.com

Making progress on our reno and I can’t figure out if sink brand matters much. I obviously don’t want a cheap, flexible, noisy sink, but I’ve been looking at Kraus, Ruvati, and Kohler, and they all seem very similar. I already know I want rounded corners for ease of cleaning, and the workstation style so I can put a roll-up drainer or a colander on the lip, but beyond that, I have no idea. Any thoughts? TIA!

My husband and I are actively shopping for all things kitchen renovation, and we have come to the kitchen sink -- a pretty pivotal decision IMO. In the showrooms, I have spied these fancy undermount sinks that have the option of in-sink colanders, drying racks, cutting boards, etc. As the family chef and baker, I *love* this idea -- giving me much needed extra space to work (as my kitchen is the size of a postage stamp). LOL!
My question is what do I do with these additions when I am dealing with a sink full of dirty dishes and need to stick my hands in and scrub? I don't want to pick up a fantastic brilliant thing ... only to create another issue.

I have a Rachiele copper farmhouse sink, I was going to get several of the fancy accessories, but Dino Rachiele suggested that I hold off until I really figured out what I needed. It turned out that I needed very few of the add-ons! I have a gridded board that I store in the cabinet under the sink. It's slim enough that it doesn't take up much space. I also have a lovely caddy that holds the sponges. It's slim enough to not take up much room in the sink. That's really it.
