Wasn’t sure to put this under recommendation or Career tag but went with Career because this would be my work bag.
I’ve seen them a few times in the city and while they are basic I love how expensive and well made they look in person.
Who has one? Do you love it? Is it easy to clean the neoprene? I want the Dune color but I’m afraid about it getting dirty from daily use.
I am asking for one for Christmas and don’t want to regret it!

I have the black neoprene backpack and am not a fan. Once the neoprene comes unglued it looks terrible

I had one as a diaper bag. Just got rid of it. I liked jt. I found it hard to clean and despite having the large size I didn’t find it that roomy. I’d give it a 6.5/10

The diaper bag is certainly spacious, but it is a “black hole” type of spacious. If you’re deciding between the two, I think it depends on how exactly you’ll need to use the bag and how much you’ll want to store in it. In my opinion, the Large Dakota backpack has more than enough room for a clutch with diaper supplies, a change of clothes for baby, snacks, and even a small cooler with a bottle or two.

Hi guys,
I am looking for a new backpack for work and I wanted to reach out for some advice. I am a speech therapist and I work in a preschool. My typical load is:
1” binder
Laptop
iPad Air
File folder
Folder with parent and teacher handouts
Large planner
Small notebook for daily notes
Pencil pouch
Toiletries Pouch
Electronics pouch with my laptop charger, phone charger, IPad charger etc.
COVID-19 pouch with things to sanitize, mask, face shield
Wallet and keys
Lunch and water bottle
I came across these two bags and I am in love with both. I love the Dakota because of all the pockets, but I am not sure if it will fit my daily work belongings. Also, I see and read a lot about creasing and random holes that appear. In terms of the MZ Wallace backpack, I love the leather pulls on the zippers. However, it lacks that organization that the Dakota has.
For anyone who has either of these bags, would my daily work items fit in either the Dagne or MZ Wallace? Has anyone had difficulties with Dagne Dover Dakota not lasting? I am also open to any other suggestions or brands that are not listed. I am desperate for a new bag since my Vera Bradley backpack is on its last legs. Thanks, everyone!

Hey so I was between these also and ended up with the ANDI backpack from the Andi brand ( https://theandibrand.com/collections/andi-backpack ). What kept me from the Dagne was the neoprene, my friend has one of their bags and it seemed to crease and stain easily. The MZ Wallace I really liked too, and it felt more functional, but thought the quilting would get old. Hopes this helps!

I looked at the Dagne Dover backpack quite a bit and eventually oped to not go with them because of the neoprene not aging well. I have this backpack and it is really excellent and might fit some of the same needs!
