Hi all, I recently became a Sideshow collector, primarily of this 1:6 scale line. I wanted to get your opinions as to the best options to display them balancing product quality, aesthetic, and cost. There are some I will currently display by themselves while others make really nice ensemble/diorama sets. Thanks for your input! ... September 14, 2024Sturdy Glass Display Cabinets for heavy figurines ?
I know this doesn't really answer your question but honestly, in my opinion, if you're going to be getting some nice, expensive, high quality figures/statues, you might as well invest in an expensive or custom made display case that can fit and support those bigger figures. $800-$1500 is a decent amount of money but in the long run if it was me, I'd like a strong display case to support my $500+ grails. Just my two cents, but good luck with the search. Hopefully you find something that fits your needs, and if you do I'd love to see what you found. More on reddit.com

I’ve got a lot of figures and my biggest collectibles are the UCS Venator, and the combiner Bruticus by Warbotron. I’m looking to find a display cabinet with glass doors that’s 48 inches wide, or something between 46-48 width, pretty tall, glass doors, and at least 14 inches in depth. It would really help if it had adjustable shelves since not all of them need to be extremely tall.
I haven’t been able to find anything outside of the standard 31.5 inch width which is not enough. And, when I finally do find something it either takes over a year to ship (looking at you Moducase) or it’s like 10,000$+ which no display cabinet is worth that much. So, I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help me display my collection?

I got some smaller cases from IKEA (middle cases) It helps that I live close to one so don't have to worry about shipping but even so they do have some nice affordable options You can add your own lighting to them also
