If you own or owned an LG refrigerator produced after January 30, 2014, you may be eligible for benefits from a nationwide settlement in Canada regarding a defect that causes these refrigerators to stop cooling. The settlement allows affected Canadian residents who purchased a covered model to claim compensation for repairs, multiple or delayed repairs, property loss or damage, and replacements due to cooling failures. I'm a bit annoyed, because my compressor went 4 years after date of purchase, and this limits damages to no more than 3 years after date of purchase.
