So as timing would have it the current dryer (Samsung - and yes never again) has developed an issue that will require 500-650$ in repairs. I jumped onto Costco but it seems my dryer wasn't aware of the timing of these sales and most of the items I want our out of stock.
I have researched and decided on LG. My wife wants another front loading machine.
I was eyeing the Model WM6500HWA | DLGX6501W (with pedestals). It's out of stock The price would have been 2300 (minus the 300$ bonus for spending over 1999) so 2k before tax.
I could go for the 5500 but my wife seems to want the extra capacity.
So my question - is this pricing the best of the year or will there be similar (plus minus $100 is not an issue). Just wanting to see if I should wait for the one she wants or just get the 5500.
We have decided to purchase the LG electric Washer (WT8400CB) and Dryer (DLE8400BE) set on sale right now for $1399 which the sites says is $1000 in savings and $100 Costco Direct savings.
We have never purchased appliances through Costco before. This seems like a great sale, but are Memorial Day sales typically better?
We aren’t in a rush so we could wait. Below is the link for the set we are looking to purchase:

Also, before anyone hates on the top loaders, unfortunately our laundry closet isn’t big enough for a front loader :(
