I currently have the 7535 and looking through the specs, I donโt see a difference other than the wireless range. Is there anything so special that makes it $50 more?
So I bought the G733 in white the day that it became available and they arrived today. Was extremely psyched since I'm a fan of many other G products. Unfortunately, this headset is complete garbage.
First up they looked great when I first opened them, good weight and design (I wear my headset all day and night between work and gaming). Trying them on though is lackluster. The foam is a bit too hard, causing discomfort after wearing them for an hour.
They are very light but they feel especially cheap (considering the price). Mediocre plastics that feel disappointing and a mic with minimal movement and a cheap and unimpressive attachment mechanism.
Range is ok. An apartment wall in between will almost sever the connection with the dongle.
Next up is the experience on PC. This has been the biggest failure. Upon installation, it reset my G Hub software. I lost all of the lighting profiles (G560), DPI profiles and keybinds (G502), and webcam scenes I'd created to match lighting conditions (G922). The software would open and state that it couldn't see anything attached. I tried removing, plugging back in etc. The devices would work, but weren't detected. I tried uninstalling and it simply wouldn't comply. Every attempt failed - nothing would come up. Tried through windows uninstaller and CCleaner with no luck. Then tried Logitechs own advice on their site (which included deleting folders). This also didn't work as folders kept refusing deletion based on being used by a program - yes I'd force closed everything in task manager. Finally I was able to force an uninstall through Revo successfully.
Then while reinstalling the software, it bluescreened my PC twice. FINALLY I've been able to get in installed and to recognise all the (now non-configured and unpersonalised) devices. Will end up returning this during the week. Poor audio, poor mic, average battery so far, average build quality and shit software experience.
What a shame.

Owners of the Logitech G733 headset, whatโs your experience with it? Any issues? Any alternative headsets you may have? I plan on getting myself a new wireless gaming headset.
I don't know a whole lot about headsets but I'm on the market for a good wireless gaming headset and I'm not quite sure what to look for. I hear Logitechs G733 is pretty good, is it worth the $150? Logitech G733
Tonight I received a new set of Lightspeed G733's during a Logitech launch, short version - very unimpressed. The audio is flat, hollow and lacks bass response - not just a little - a lot. The microphone is worse than a $10 mic sounding tinny and echoey. The range of the large dongle is ok not the best. A person should NOT have to install Logitech software just to get a usable experience. You can't advertise PlayStation support and then make the default setup sound so crap especially at this price point. You can put whatever marketing jargon you want on there about Pro drivers etc. It all means diddly squat if you need GHub. Relying on software just means poor product testing with the hope of fixing in software - a real band-aid solution.
Using them on Linux, media centre, smart tv or steam deck would be a big no no and be nothing short of a waste of money and frustrating experience. I compared them to a cheap JBL 350 set, the range is almost double on the JBL despite a dongle half the size, the bass, mids and depth all way better without any software. Heck, I could watch a movie or listen to music without having to use EQ's - literal plug and play. The mic on the JBL is just SO much better. At least the G733 has a removable mic not the old movable boom type.
Honestly, I am very disappointed and can't sell these with a clear conscience especially when there are headsets costing 1/3 the price that have better OOBE and much better MIC's. When I first walked in to my supplier I instructed my buyer to order 30 and see how they sell. Now, not a chance. I'll stick with JBL, Corsair, Redragon, CoolerMaster etc. I say this owning many Logitech products in my house.
Logitech appear to have totally lost the plot delivering a sub par experience that can only be used properly with Logitech software. Admittedly as a fan of Logitech for decades it's sad to see them release such poorly tuned products. Mic apart, their hardware build is great but the product gets a big no from me. The only benefits were comfort and fast pairing. Remove the logo and I would struggle to sell these at $50. What a missed opportunity. What an anti climax.
That is all I have to say, thank you ๐
Hello everyone!
I already got the new Logitech G733 in blue and I have to admit that the audio quality is far from being good. I do really like the headset in terms of comfort, wireless range, battery life and the design is awesome. Unfortunately the audio feels, I dont know how to describe it, week or not as great as it should be. In Discord I cant quite understand my friends becuase they hear kind of dull but at least the mic is fine they say. I previously used the Logitech G933 which was outstanding apart from the old software which felt like a joke to me and also the automated mute broke after like 2-3 years.
I would like to know if its only me having this kind of issues due to the fact that I downgraded the speakers from 50mm to 40mm.
Thanks in advance!
Kidna late but i just bought them this week. I think i fixed the issue i had with them from the box. Tried every tutorial on eq on yt but it sounded flat every time (tested it in valorant - shooting vandal with my old headphones and with these and also listening to my music - drift phonk, noticed it straight away). After few hours i tried turning every setting to defalut (turn off surrounded sound, off advanced eq) and just try to do something with bass and treble. FINALLY I FOUND THE SETTING THAT WORKS FOR ME: +7 bass, +4 treble that is all i need, dont turn on anything else. It sounds EXTREMLY GOOD like i wanted them to sound out of the box. Hope this will help someone
The headphones can be greatly customized to your likeing with the Logitech App, allowing you to change a number of different sound features as well as enable custome surround sound. I would say mess around with these first, as it is an important feature.
After using G230 for 5 years, i've decided on getting a G733 7.1. Do you guys recommend it? I'm stuck between G733 7.1 and SteelSeries Arctis 7
wanted to buy one, but many says that it doesn't work well with ghub and its quality is bad, so is it worth it?
Ghub is not very good app. I have G733, G305 Lightspeed, G920. I only use Ghub for a wheel (G920).
And G733, they are good, I bought it mostly because of the looks, got the lilac one. If u are aiming for wireless headphones I would recommend them. Good battery life, removable mic, good sound quality, i just wish that they are a bit louder. Build quality is very good, and they are light so u can wear it for long periods of time.
If u don't mind wired headphones I would recommend Logitech G Pro, Steelseries Arctics 5/7.
We appreciate you considering our device. I understand that there have been reports with our device and we regret that. What I can say though, our device is built to enhance your gaming experience and definitely suffice your needs. What I suggest, once you purchase it maximize its usage. If you feel like you'll have issues with it, just return it. Thanks again, stay safe!
Hey guys Iโm looking for a new wireless headset for my ps4, I was thinking about buying the Logitech G733 cuz itโs budget friendly; do you guys have any reviews about it ? Ive heard they donโt have a great mic??? Thanks for reply!!
Seems like Logitech doesn't really care about the issue,
The battery drains quickly, headphones disconnect randomly, can't put the volume over 70 or else they will start to crack and pop and of course non existent bass with a lot of disturbance.
If not the worst headset and wireless headset I have ever used.
When contacted Logitech about the issues mentioned on 2 separate occasions, they just wanna replace it with another pair that doesn't work.
Overall a terrible experience that I do not recommend to any people who like their wallet and ears
Edit: It gets worse, it pisses me off the Logitech advertises 29+ hours of battery, I only get 5-7.
The worst part is I can't get a refund.
Worth noting, I play on pc.
I specifically really like the look of this headset.
Currently use a Razor Kraken, which has been fine, just have the option to upgrade and who wouldn't? Haha.
Also, not willing to spend 2x the price of the aforementioned Logitech headset.
And am inclined to go wireless so I can get up to get a drink etc.
TIA!
I picked up a pair of the G733 headset. Great sound and a good mic. Having a wireless headset is very useful and no need to worry about ripping it off when I sit up!
But... the headset hurts my ears after about 2 hours of constant wearing. My old pair (Logitech G430) had a deeper ear (hole?) and didn't hurt after even 8 hours of use. It also squeals when certain RGB colors are used and unmutes the microphone when switching profiles (by switching programs).
I can deal with the last two issues but is there anything to fix the ear pain other than removing it every so often?
Hey all, I'm looking for some people who have owned the G733 for a significant period of time. I've owned the g430 for a bit and i've had durability problems with it numerous times but now I want to upgrade to something better. So those of you who've owned the g733 for 6mo+ how has it worked out for you? Has anything broken, Does it look like some of the plastic will break at some point? All the reviews online I see are just first impressions and I can't find anything about durability. I'm fine with my 30$ g430 breaking, I'm not fine with a 130$ one breaking.
there are no reviews for this for more than 6 months at the most. They only came out last September, so we are only now around the 6 month on market time frame. I can however tell you, Ive had a pair for roughly 4 months and havent had any issues. They have been dropped a few times and still work fine, nothing is broken.
Great sound, good mic, range, comfy and light.
Faint buzzes whenever the LEDs cycle, RMA I guess.
Hi, I'm in between this two headphone and the price of G435 is $79.99, cheaper than G733 ($109.99).
Both designs look similar except the RGB and microphone appearance.
Anyone using G435 or G733 and have any review on the headphone you're using?
TIA!
