"Cheap" tiles often have things about them that make them less expensive other than their durability. The pattern repeat could be very small or non existent, the tiles aren't square, the tiles are warped, there are allowed glaze imperfections, there is color variation in the same lot, the actual visual looks fuzzy and not defined, the colors are just "off' having weird hues in them. None of these means they won't last years and years of looking like a cheap tile. Some things like out of square, warped make installing them and having the grout joints look good an absolute nightmare and all the money saved on the product becomes a labor expense. Take a few tiles place them on a granite counter top that's level but all the joints together at lease 2-3 long and 4 pieces wide and you'll see quick of it's square, if you start playing with lining it up then it's going to be 100x worse on the install if you don't plant for it, spacers need to be wedge style and you need a bunch of snapped lines to follow because you cannot trust the tiles. Hey every thing could be great and they could be near perfect, but I bet they are not. Doesn't mean they won't last and they won't look good at the end of the day. I've installed some tiles like that and everyone loved how it looked. But it took way longer than it should have and I recognized the issues before it was an issue. How to Select the Best Tile For a Bathroom Floor
Cement and terrazzo tile floors require sealing after installation. Once sealed, they're easy to clean by sweeping and then mopping with a neutral pH cleaner and water. Then rinse and dry the floors. To prevent staining, the floor needs to be resealed every year. If you're ready to remodel your bathroom floor, Lowe's has thousands of tile options to choose from.

Has anyone used the 6x6 satori tiles from Lowe’s for bathroom floor?
I know someone who used them. While they're marketed for floors and walls, be cautious in high-traffic areas like bathrooms and laundry rooms. Regular maintenance and care could help, but stay wary of potential durability issues. More on reddit.com

So I bought these penny floor tiles from Lowe’s and my contractor sent me this photo and said there is a color variation on the tiles. Ideally he would have told me this before he placed them down but he didn’t notice it until it was grouted and done. Is Lowe’s at fault with this?
Did you check the dye lot numbers on the boxes? You always have to buy from the same dye lot. More on reddit.com

Does anyone have experience with this specific tile from Lowe’s? It seems pretty cheap compared to similar looking products from other manufacturers. Also if you’ve ordered tile from Lowe’s, how was your experience?

Bought Lowe’s wood look porcelain tile a few years ago. Tiled my entire 1500 sq. house. Corners chip easily.. wish I shopped elsewhere or put vinyl plank instead. Just my experience.

I’m wondering if they are going to be strong enough to support the weight of everyday use. They say “floor and wall”. Also wanted to use it in laundry room.
Let me know your experiences. Thanks.

Just found your post and I'm looking at using these for a shower floor How was your experience if you used them? Did you need spacers during the installation? And with pieces like this should I make a template and cut the mosaic to fit the shower or like remove and reposition pieces to fit everything?
