So I need a die grinder for deburring parts at the home work shop. Looked to see if makita make one, they don't 😒
Milwaukee make one and so do ryobi.... That's not much help to me though.
So I thought to myself..... Well you do have a cordless router, and it is quarter inch.
So I welded some (s)crap together to make probably the only right angle makita die grinder in existence.
It works pretty well. It can stand on the round disc while not in use. Obviously no finger trigger but it is variable speed. Needless to say, pretty heavy compared to an air powered diegrinder. But still better than having to deburr all the parts by hand.
Just need to paint it teal now 🤣
I wonder if Makita will ever release a 18v or 40v variable speed die grinder..?
And with that, has anyone modified their current one to put a variable dial in it?
