How to populate data in a 3rd-level deep nested map?
This is how I do it and I do it tons. for ( Sobject sobj : someList ){ Map innerMap = mainMap.containsKey( sobj.outer ) ? mainMap.get( sobj.outerId ) : new Map(); innerMap.put( sobj.innerId, sobj ); mainMap.put( sobj.outerId, innerMap ); } I use this pattern over and over for various maps. So much so today, I decided to write a class to map stuff so I can use the same syntax more or less to do it. Mapping and Filtering probably the most common things to do in apex. More on reddit.com
