Hey all, I bought an absolutely overkill gaming laptop last year and still wound up just using my Xbox. Now I'm going to school and need something with better battery life and a more reasonable size. Besides Kijiji, where can I go to get an acceptable trade value on mine and a decent laptop for an okay price?
I've contacted Django's, Memory Express and Top Logix with no luck so far. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think youwill find anything. Pawn shops will give you pennies. There is not a lot of money in used electronics, and they are out dated. I don't think you will find a better option than Kijiji. Sorry. I hope I'm wrong, and that someone has a better idea.

If the graphics card is anything like a rtx 2060 (even 1660 ti) or higher there is likely decent value in the used market currently. Laptops with good gaming specs are not going as crazy priced as individual rtx 30xx series cards currently are, they seem to be a better value during covid shortages. Try the canadianhardwareswap subreddit

Bought the top-of-the-line router (Netgear N600 / WNDR3700) and a 1.5TB drive. BOTH failed this week (drive started clicking, router would no longer DHCP). Took them back to Memory Express. They gave me a new drive right away, but I had to drive up to the NW (from the SE!) to get the router. But they swapped it out right away, no problems. Total time: Two hours. Awesome customer service.
I am not associated with them. But with all the Rogers / Bell / Shaw bashing I've been doing lately, I just wanted to send out a shout-out to a company that actually does the right thing by their customers. The more you know....
