I created one in zoho but found out that it doesn't work with many tools and the deliverability isn't the best. And if I delete my zoho account will I be able to create one in Microsoft with the same domain? (my domain is from namecheap if it helps)
Thank you. Good night.

You just need to verify your new domain in Microsoft 365 admin center. Then you will could use your new domain name for mailbox/account. (verify new domain in Office 365 is free)
For more detailed information you can have a look about this article: Add a domain to Microsoft 365

Thanks very much. That's super helpful and good to know :)
I have just found out that you can buy domains from Microsoft admin center. Does Microsoft actually host the domain? So basically if domains are purchased through admin center, there is no need for registrar like Godaddy?
You can purchase a domain direct from azure try to view this link. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/custom-dns-web-site-buydomains-web-app/
Success
While Microsoft is a registrar i'm not sure they offer domain name registration services to the public. They do list ASP hosting services here http://www.microsoft.com/web/hosting/home it's not MS hosting or registering domain names.
GoDaddy wants $17.99/year for renewals, and I'm looking for alternatives. I don't have a problem using GoDaddy, but I'm just annoyed that I'm coming off a 10-year renewal that cost me $50 and now they want $90 for 5 years. It's become more a matter of principle at this point.
I love Azure, so I looked into their relatively new offering (which I later learned is fulfilled by GoDaddy). The advertised domain price for Azure is $11.99, but this article indicates you also need to pay for DNS. Pricing for those are $0.50 for the zone and $0.40 for the first billion requests per month. That would make the minimum cost for an Azure domain registration $22.79/year.
Am I missing something? Is there any benefit to using Azure for this?
