October 12, 2023[Classic movie] Candy (1968) starring Ewa Aulin, what did the movie mean or the messege behind it?
I saw this for the first time last year and I wish I could give you the answer but I was as stumped as you. Strange movie indeed. Basically a trashy soft core porn comedy starring A list celebrities. Ringo Star as Mexican dude? Walter Mathow as a sex starved army general? Granted I was high as fuck when I watched it. Definitely found it entertaining though. More on reddit.com

Ewa was 18 when she stared in this film along with an amazing cast including: Richard Burton, Ringo Starr, Marlon Brando, John Huston, James Coburn, Charles Aznavour, Walter Matthau, Sugar Ray Robinson, and others. In 1973 she decided acting wasn't her thing, had a couple of kids with her husband, went to college and became a teacher. Gotta respect that. But man did I have a crush on her when this film released. More on reddit.com
