Hi. I'm looking for couch co-op games for (up to) 4 players. Prefer isometric over plain 2D side-scrolling or split-screen.
In the past we've enjoyed Ember Knights (and its DLC), The Ascent, Sea of Stars, Helldivers 1, and Alienation. (Kind of meh on Borderlands franchise, Overcooked clones, and games that are only puzzles at this point.) Games with some story and some combat seem to work best.
Would love ideas for something new-ish (released in last 12 months) that we haven't tried. Thank you!

Don’t sleep on Sackboy. Different tone than the ones you mentioned, but it’s an absolute RIOT in 4p. The levels are super fun, the music levels especially are bananas good, and the boss fights are chaotic and hilarious. Also a visually stunning game. It’s frankly criminal that the game wasn’t a smash hit. Also Rayman Legends. It’s not isometric but it’s very fun.
