I'm visiting Japan, and came across the “Leisure Line Adirondack Chairs” ahem.. Muskoka chairs. I noticed the ones here a flimsy AF!
I'm planning on coming back to Toronto in a few weeks, and I need to purchase some of these chairs, but I do not recall them being this wobbly.
I've used the Leisure Lines a few times in the past, but I recall them being solid. Are the ones in the Canadian Costco stores like this as well? Plesse don't tell me the quality went to shit, maybe I'm remembering it wrong.
Picked this up on a trip over the border to Canada at the Windsor Costco. Thought I was getting a great deal at around $51 USD.
Joke was on me though. Over $60 in stain and polyurethane, countless hours, hundreds of expletives as I was staining and assembling. But considering this was only the second wood item I have stained and sealed and assembled, I’m happy with it!
It should at least get me a woodworking badge from the Pawnee Rangers. I’d like to think Ron Swanson would approve of this fine Canadian white pine 😂
In all seriousness though, this was kind of fun to do and I would definitely get another one to match and it would look much better knowing what I know now!
Not sure if the community has any insight but was wanting to get a couple more of the Leisure Line Classic Adirondack Chairs but thought that they may go on sale around spring. I totally get if this is something no one could know but wondering if there's some history to Costco putting them on sale prior to spring.
Thanks in advance! Also if anyone is thinking of getting these chairs, they absolutely rule and I'm only mad I only have 2 right now. They can sit in the sun for months and it's like you just bought them. Absolutely worth the price even not on sale.
