Hello mattress hunters!

So over Labor Day this year, my partner and I bought the Nectar Classic Mattress, and dang—it’s really upgraded my sleep.

HOWEVER, there was one small thing I didn’t expect: it’s FIRM right out of the box, more than I thought it would be. Initially, I thought about calling to return it. But honestly, after a few nights, it started to soften up a bit, and now I’m loving the extra support! Either that or I just got used to it.

Oh one other thing, is that it is HEAVY. Took both of us to get it up the stairs so if you’re old and/or weak, be prepared for that.

Other than that, it’s been amazing. The memory foam is super plush and contours perfectly to my body, which has been great for my back and hips. I’ve also noticed I’m waking up way less during the night. The motion isolation is excellent, when my partner moves or gets up to pee in the night - I barely feel a thing.

The construction feels really sturdy too, which is reassuring since I need something that lasts (let’s hope this stays that way) My advice - If anyone’s on the fence about getting a Nectar, I’d say go for it! It’s affordable, and with the generous trial period, you can try it out without much risk.

I convinced my wife to get a nectar mattress, we have had it for almost a year and I am not the biggest fan. My wife loves it and I have to keep it. I am looking for a mattress topper to make it a little bit softer. Any recommendations especially from amazon at a reasonable price would be great. Thank you!
