Enjoyed a recent dinner at North Italia in Birmingham at the Summit Mall. Arriving early on a Thursday evening we were warmly greeted at the host stand who was hospitable, he asked a seater to take us to a table. She left a couple menus. We were immediately greeted by our server Bryan who also was very friendly and hospitable.

My travel companion was craving Italian and he picked this place. Parking was a nightmare - we had to pay through the nose at the neighboring underground lot. Once inside, the place was wall-to-wall young (under 30) metropolitan professionals. It was incredibly noisy. The menu was very limited and for an Italian place, there were very few vegetarian options.

Had dinner with family at North Italia in The Point shopping center in El Segundo. The restaurant has a nice selection of indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit just inside near the bar area. The restaurant was loud and crowded but that was to be expected on a Saturday evening. The menu has a number of traditional Italian dishes.
