March 29, 2024 - The car seat was very well packaged within Nuna branded packaging which displayed their mission statement - “From first rides to your next adventure”. When lifting the car seat out of the box I was amazed by how light it was - 2.8kg to be precise! The second thing I noticed was the high quality and luxurious feel of the fabrics used in particular the merino wool insert against the beautiful, brushed metal and tan handle. It was hard to believe you can find such a great looking car seat that is so lightweight. The Nuna PIPA NEXT i-Size is available to purchase with the i-Size base which is what we received in the second box.

October 1, 2024 - All of their products are very sleek and functional and they have a bunch of little things that make the price worth it. It has been wonderful to have this little carrier for my baby and I'm so glad I went with this brand over UPPABABY.

May 31, 2025 - Just because it’s light, doesn’t mean it’s any less safe, the PIPA is i-size approved, and was awarded a GOOD result in the ADAC safety testing. It fits onto the Next base which can be fixed at 180 degrees so that baby is rearward facing or can be belted in with a seatbelt and is usable from birth to 13kg.

Lightweight enough to tote while doing your shopping and versatile to take from the taxi to the family car with the option of belt path or base installation (base sold separately), the Pipa NEXT from Nuna makes travelling with your little one ...

Nuna claims its Pipa Next + Base Next child car seat is ‘everything you’ve been dreaming of to make your life easier’. It doesn’t do the nappy change for you, but it does have a rotating base, an easy-to-adjust three-point harness and a drape to block out the light and help your baby fall asleep on long journeys. Features are a nice-to-have, but read our full review to make sure this car seat is good where it really counts.

November 10, 2025 - The Nuna Pipa has unique features and offers different things than a lot of other infant car restraints do not have. However, it is incredibly expensive for a car seat that only has average crash test results.

January 23, 2024 - As I need to travel on taxi at times, i was recommended the Nuna Pipa Next car seat (can be installed with a seat belt & lightweight to lift and set up on the stroller). We were almost deciding on it, but when we checked the reviews online we found some negative reviews which all mention that baby's chin touches chest no matter what adjustment they made.
