OK, the model, type, and code numbers are clearly visible vertically on the left side of your photo. I just researched the model year and found that the first two numbers in the code number are supposedly the year of production. In your case, the first two numbers of the code number are "60", so that would mean this engine was produced in 1960, which seems fairly accurate to me based on the photo.

There are no numbers stamped on top of this one. I have seen it before on others. I read on the A.S.E.C.C. (Antique Small Engine Collectors Club) that they didn't use a code number until 1965. I also read on there that you can figure out how old a engine is with the model and serial number,,on their site.
