Hi folks

I am moving across the country and need to ship a couple of boxes. I am planning to try FedEx Ground shipping home pickup and I have a couple of questions:

1. Is there an additional cost for them to pick up the packages from my place (compared to let’s say I go to a Walmart FedEx)?

2. Once I schedule a pickup, do I need to *print * anything out? I don’t have a printer lol.

I frequently schedule one-time pickups at my workplace via fedex.com. We have explored doing automated or recurring pickups but for now we're just scheduling one-time pickups ourselves as needed.

What I want to know is, how accurate do I need to be with the number and weights of the boxes? Sometimes I schedule a pickup for the next day with two boxes, and then the day of the pickup I have one or two to add. Does that matter?

In general, if I schedule a few pickups for the coming week (with, say, a listing of one 20-pound box for each pickup) with the intent of canceling as needed, would that be creating chaos for FedEx (and/or for my employer) or would that be okay?

(Please note that part of the reason I'm asking here instead of asking FedEx directly is because I was on the phone with them earlier today about switching to automated pickups, and they transferred me three times and nobody had a clue what I was talking about.)

I want to send in a phone for trade in to it's worth more. It has a prepaid label for FedEx ground. How much would it cost to schedule a one time pickup at my house?
