I've tried installing it from Microsoft Store and also from the Official Website and it still doesn't open the program after double clicking the icon. I've checked my Windows Updates and my NVIDIA graphics card drivers and everything seems to be up-to-date. Would appreciate a solution for this

If you're having trouble installing older desktop versions of CapCut from various sources, or if you've downloaded it from the Microsoft Store and get a message saying it's already installed when it's not, try this:

1. Installation Error at 99%: If you've tried installing the CapCut exe file and it gets stuck at 99%, showing an error like "cannot create shortcut," you might have closed the error message and assumed the installation failed because the app doesn't show up on your PC. However, your PC likely installed it anyway. Go to the "Uninstall" section on your PC, and you'll see CapCut listed as an installed app, even if there's no shortcut.

2. Fixing the Installation: Don't uninstall CapCut. Instead, go back to the CapCut exe file you still have. Right-click on it and choose "Run as administrator." When the installation screen appears, click on "More" at the bottom of the pop up box, then untick the "Create shortcut" option. Click INSTALL, and the app should run and configure properly.

3. Issues with the Microsoft Store Version: If you're trying to download CapCut from the Microsoft Store but get a message saying you need to uninstall the previous version first, go to the "Uninstall" section on your PC and remove CapCut if it's listed. Then, you'll be able to install any version of CapCut you want.
