I want to try XFCE, but my system is already installed so how can I change my desktop environment ? I'm using tumbleweed.

For context I currently use Tumbleweed with KDE but I want to switch to GNOME, and IIRC you can do it with YaST very easily, but I'm not sure how can you do it and if after doing it I will need to do some tinkering to remove KDE and all of their apps and ecosystem
Sidenote: I'm doing this on my laptop, I also wanted to try how big is the battery difference between KDE and GNOME
Update: I did it in the based on a reply, and everything worked fine
Edit: for anyone having this problem in the future, if you are switching from KDE to GNOME and you start experiencing long shutdowns / reboots you have to change the Window Manager default from Plasma to GNOME (it is done with Yast) and most importantly the display manager from SDDM (KDEs default) to GDM (GNOMEs default), I think this only aplies if you use Wayland (I don't use Xorg)
Hey guys, what's up?
Do you guys have ever changed you D.E of choice in the installation, and used the new one 100% successfully?
Same people say that the installation of a new D.E, replacing the original one is never 100%, i wonder how it is on openSUSE since i just removed everything of KDE to install GNOME.
Ty!
I know that this is a general linux question but maybe openSUSE does things a bit differently or suggests things differently. I like gnome, but since gnome 42 there are no customizations, except some small tweaks. Although I don't like to customize things, especially not in the way like kde allows you, I still like to change some small things on gnome. But since it doesn't allow it anymore I'll have to check KDE. So, my questions are: can multiple DE's be installed and how does openSUSE support multiple DE's? Maybe it suggests to install just one DE. can DE's completely be replaced, like installing a new one and deleting the old one? Can other DE's be added, ones that aren't in the installation list and will this affect the distro stability? And what is the recommended DE by openSUSE?
For exemple, I'm currently using GNOME on open suse tumbleweed. If I wanted to switch to KDE plasma or to XFCE I could essily install It with YasT. But the elements of the two desktops would be mixed together. And I'm afraid of deleting One of them and breaking some dependencies. What should bê the correct way to switch DEs?
Edit: So, I installed KDE Plasma over gnome, and now Konsole, Dolphin, and a lot of other Plasma aplications wont launch at all. And the firefox browser has adawaita theme even thought I changed it to breeze on the Plasma settings. How do I fix this?
