I'm creating a world for my DnD campaign. And I would love it to be a complete world which I perfectly understand (a daunting task, I know, we will see how I do). Therefore I wanted to start at the beginning...
And that's where the problem arose. The beginning of the universe is somewhat incomprehensible for us mere humans. Even if The Big Bang is a thing it does not describe where all the stuff comes from. That's what I'm interested in.
The easiest solution is to say that everything always existed and avoid the question. Then the inevitable conflict between nothing and something (everything) begins.
Now is the time to ask the question: "What is the opposite of The Void?"
If we have a fancy name for the nothingness, The Void, what is the fancy name for the everything?
I have found my answer but I am curious what you guys can come up with.

The opposite of the void is infinity. Everything that could ever even potentially exist is there; it just hasn't necessarily manifested in reality. Even you are there - an infinite number of copies of you.

Depends on what you mean by void. If the context it's space themed then gravity or space time abilities would make the most sense. If you mean it to be other and dark then going with symbolism associated with evil is usually the energy you want even if their not. If you mean void to be something else we'd need to know more context.

Void magic would be something like an offshoot of space magic. Like blackholes and stuff. Or, void magic could be something that negates all other magic types. Those using void magic could disable the spells of other casters for example. A very strong void magician could cause spells and magic itself to break down with their presence. And so on.
